Miss Teen Continents 2016

Anjali Sinha

Anjali Sinha represented the United Kingdom.  Of Indian decent, she is the 2nd young lady from the UK to win the international crown.

Representing United Kingdom, Anjali Sinha won the coveted title of Miss Teen Continents 2016.
This was her first ever participation at an international pageant. She also won the Best National Costume Award, a first for United Kingdom at an international pageant for any category, making it a truly historic moment for British Pageantry.

Born in Mumbai, India, Anjali moved to London, UK with her parents when she was 4 years old. She considers herself fortunate to have a deep understanding of both the Indian and British cultures, tradition and heritage and gained the best of both worlds. Anjali is currently studying Applied Sciences at college and plans to pursue a Degree course in Bio Medical Science from a reputed university next year. Her aim is to pursue a career in Medical Research.

Anjali has been participating and judging in numerous Beauty Pageants since August 2015. 

Representing Greater London, she won the coveted title of Miss Teen Earth UK & NI 2015 at a glittering event held at the Burlington Hotel, Birmingham, UK in August 2015.

This was her first ever participation in any pageant. Her eco mission was ‘Save Water, Save Earth, Save Life’ and she continues to work for this cause.

Her main objective in being part of the Pageant industry is to help create awareness on various causes like women empowerment, education for children and save earth campaigns. Having won 2 major titles, she feels privileged to have worked with various charities involving children like Angel Xpress Foundation, a charity based in Mumbai, India which is dedicated to the cause of education for the under privileged  children.

She also supports a charitable cafe called ‘Sheroes Hangout’ based in Agra, India and run by women acid attack survivors and campaigns against such atrocities towards women.  This is a huge cause and she hopes to be fully associated with them on her next visit to India.

Anjali has been featured prominently on ‘The Natural Sparkle magazine, UK’, ‘ Asian Lite, UK ‘ , ‘India News GB’ and ‘The Herald newspaper, Goa, India’, and Vaani.org etc.

She has also been featured on the Facebook pages of ‘India’s next International Beauty Queen’ and ‘The Great Pageant Community’ .  Her public Facebook page has garnered over 100k likes

Anjali is a fitness enthusiast and regularly trains in Pilates and has been previously trained in Karate. Her other interests are Dancing (Bollywood and Hip Hop), Singing, listening to Music, producing EDM (Electro Dance Music), playing musical instruments like Guitar and Piano, Photography.

Anjali owes her success in both academic and non- academic areas to her parents, other family members, mentors, teachers, friends, and her well-wishers and their support keeps her motivated at all times.
