Aleisha Robertson is from New Zealand and was crowned Miss Teen Continents 2012.
On June 30th 2012, New Zealander Aleisha Robertson was crowned Miss Teen Continents 2012. She is extremely honored and proud to be the first New Zealander to win this prestigious title and be one of the very few New Zealander’s to ever place internationally in pageant history. Receiving the title of Miss T.E.E.N 2012 is a huge honor for Aleisha; she plans to use her title to be a role model for young women in New Zealand and word-wide. Aleisha said that competing in the Miss Teen Continents Pageant was one of the most amazing experiences of her life, which she will never forget. Already missing her friends that she met in Texas, Aleisha hopes to be able to visit all the girls in their home countries one day.
Aleisha, 16, attends high school at Diocesan School for Girls in Auckland and in year 12 (second to last year). She studies English, Math, History, Business Studies, Classical Studies and Japanese. Aleisha plans to go to university and study for a law to degree to become an intellectual property lawyer. She also dreams of travelling all over the world. Multiple times.
Aleisha is a keen sportswoman. She had been dancing since she was 5 and competitively since she was 10 in Ballet and Jazz Ballet and then went on to volunteer as a dance teacher. She is also a volunteer surf lifeguard during the summer and has her Level 1 & 2 first aid awards. Aleisha also enjoys netball, kickboxing and yoga.
